About Me

Daniela Cohen

Daniela is a mother of two, who grew up in Brazil. As a toddler, she liked to organize her toys by color and category. By school age, she wouldn't let anyone fix her backpack, clothes or toys, and she always put her things away! Growing up she enjoyed organizing her family’s and friend’s belongings. Bloom your Space was founded by Daniela Cohen in 2014.

After graduating in Fine Arts, she spent thirteen years in the fashion industry. The colors of fabric rolls in the bikini factory put a grin on her face, specially when in her spare time, she organized them like a rainbow. Factory workers smiled too, as it helped them to quickly locate any fabric! When she transitioned to high fashion design, the nuances and textures of embroidery and luxurious fabrics fascinated her. She would interview a bride for an hour, analyze the bride’s traits, to just then customize a dress that would bring out the client’s features and personality. For fun, she enjoyed decorating the show room and improving productivity at the atelier!

When love brought her to the United States in 1998, she had to take a break from work. Decorating, painting and studying kept her happy. At the creativity room she built in her basement in Georgia, she experimented with different forms of art. Her oil paintings were show cased in a couple galleries.

Married to her kindergarten sweetheart, she moved seven times in seven years! With that she mastered the skills of packing, unpacking, organizing and decorating! Each time, a week after moving, they held a housewarming party, awing guests by her speed and ability to organize and restyle their home! Later, she applied her decorating and coaching skills when managing an upscale children’s furniture store. Dealing with expecting and young families deepened her love for children.

In 2005 she moved to Texas, pregnant with her son and soon after, a girl was added to the equation! What started as volunteering at her toddlers’ Montessori School became a fascination. She ended up being in Montessori classrooms for several years and became passionate about  the Montessori philosophy and teaching. Again, on breaks, she would find something that needed to be arranged!

In 2014, after a final push from friends who insisted she should be an organizer, Bloom Your Space was born! Daniela immediately joined NAPO - National Association of Professional Organizers and continued investing in training and education.

Daniela brings passion and creativity into every project, blending all her previous experiences! She is adamant in transferring her skills, as her quest is to help clients be organized for life and not only temporarily!
