I never loved staplers and staples! First of all, they seem to sense when you are in a hurry and will get stuck just to drive you nuts trying to remove the twisted darn staple! Then, you will probably run out of staples only when someone is waiting! Well, at least if you are organized like me, you know exactly where that little box of staples is! Ha! They are bulky and heavy, not quite safe for younger children and besides, let's face it, they are not earth friendly at all! Still, you always need a sturdy surface for them to work properly, right? Have you tried to staple some papers in an uneven surface, like your legs for example? Just to get the staple all smashed on the corners and when you finally remove the damaged staple, you finger has a little whole and your stapler is jammed! URGHRRRR! Right?
That is exactly why I have always being fond of the idea of stapleless staplers! Specially for children! Whenever I see one I try it! My children have always loved stapling for crafts, fun, or to play make believe teacher or office worker! They have enjoyed their FINEX Teddy Bear Staple Free Staplers for years! It's cute and works well, but it's not that portable so it stays in their craft room.
When it came time to set up my work bag for my organizing business I knew I would need something more compact, but also, that didn't look as if I was going to elementary school! So I researched on Amazon and ordered the Kokuyo Harinacs Japanese Stapleless Stapler. It was definitely a winner! It is SO tiny I was skeptical but it really holds well! I got the one for 4 sheets as I rarely stable more than 3 sheets, but it also comes in a bigger size, still compact, that staples up to 8 sheets. Either size comes in different colors, including black, for a more professional look if that is what you need.
So, why I am bragging about it? Remember all the reasons I did not like regular staplers? This one is light - fits in my binder, no need for staples - eco-friendly, you can use on your hands - no need for table on surface... Well, and it works SUPER well! It cuts and folds back an arrow like piece of paper. And I don't have to carry replacement staples! Yay!
Man, I can see the grains and hairs of the paper of this picture. I guess I will have to write a post about the lens I used! You will nor believe how much they cost! Coming soon!
